I'm a football fan in my mid-thirties who has spent an embarrassing amount of time arguing about football — in group chats, on social media, at work, with anyone who'll listen. The classic debates: who earns more, who's won more, who's actually better? I got tired of having no quick way to settle those arguments, so I built one.

FootballPickr started as a side project to scratch my own itch. I wanted a clean, fast site where I could look up player wages, compare two footballers head-to-head, and test my knowledge with a proper quiz — all without wading through bloated sports sites full of ads and noise. If you're the kind of person who knows your xG from your progressive carries, this site was made for you.

I follow the Premier League obsessively but I care about football at every level — La Liga, Champions League, international football, all of it. The site reflects that. We cover players from across every major league and competition, with stats and wages kept as up-to-date as possible.

The site is completely free to use. No sign-up, no paywall, no nonsense. Just pure football knowledge — wages, stats, quizzes, player comparisons, and more. The goal is to keep building it out with more players, more tools, and more ways to settle those never-ending debates.
