How does the Football Career Path Quiz work?

Each round shows one retired footballer's senior clubs in the order they played for them, and you pick the right name from four options. You get four guesses per player. Nationality is shown from the start, position is revealed after your first wrong guess and their era after the second.

How often does the quiz change?

The starting player changes every day — everyone gets the same one on the same date. After that first round the quiz keeps going with a new legend each time, so you can play as long as you like in one sitting.

How many players are in the pool?

There are 20 retired legends in the pool at the moment, from Maradona and Pelé to Zidane, Ronaldinho, Totti and Rooney. More are added over time, and only permanent senior club moves are listed — no youth teams and no loan spells.

Can I replay previous quizzes?

There is no dated archive of past rounds, but nothing is locked away either. Every round after the daily starter is drawn at random from the same pool, so keep playing and the earlier legends come round again. Play Again resets you to the current day's starting player.
